Kidderminster Railway Museum. A great place to spend some time between trains on the SVR.
The Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, Tywyn, has a comprehensive collection of images of its exhibits available on-line - why can't more museums make use of the internet in this way?.
The Transport Ticket Society is what it says and has a number of images and useful links.

Prorail is the parent organisation (for want of a better expression) for Railway Collectors Journal. .
Landscapes under the Luggage Rack - Greg Norden is the expert in British railway carriage prints. His site includes details of the standard work of reference on the subject, "Landscapes under the Luggage Rack" (which I can thoroughly recommend).
The National Railway Museum, York has, as might be expected, probably the finest collection of railwayana of all.
Science & Society Picture LIbrary is an on-line shop for posters and images set up by the NRM / Science Museum and from where a number of reproduction posters can be browsed and purchased.

IrfanView freeware Very useful if you need to preview, organise and modify images. The European Railway Picture Gallery. Handy online archive. SAR Steam - the renamed ethinticity site. Good site on South African steam with a model engineering slant. Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum Not a great site but it has some fascinating photos in the Gallery of the kit of parts stored on site which is NSWGR C38 Pacific 3813. Dorrigo is also where the two British ROD 2-8-0s are stored. Australian steam. A list (and photos of most) of preserved Australian steam locos. The Railways Archive Official documents from British (and some Irish) railway history. The accident reports are a fascinating insight into railway operations. You Tube - lots of railway videos online. Annesley shed - lots of photos of Annesley's locos flickr.com - hosts personal photo galleries. Lots of railway related.
